My journey to Thailand started on 1st December 2018. This was my third time in Thailand. So, I was kind of experienced about Thailand. I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. My first destination was Pattaya. I usually use shared bus to reach Pattaya from Suvarnabhumi Airport. I prefer Bell Transfer Service. It is cheap(around 280 BAHT), comfortable and very convenient for me. When you arrive to international arrivals, They are just located one floor below. You will see the sign plates, Pattaya & Hua Hin, clearly. Firstly, bus takes you a park area close to Pattaya and after passengers are taken to minivans according to their hotels and they are brought to hotels. Journey takes around one hour and 45 minutes, depending on traffic jam. Here, you can check Pattaya Hotels.

This time I preferred to stay very close to Pattaya Beach, in my favourite hotel, Flipper House Hotel. I like this hotel because very convenient location, many restaurants, exchange offices, bars and 7-Elevens around. They have roof top pool with a nice view. If no place in this hotel, I prefer more budget hotel, Eastiny Seven Hotel which is on the same street.

There are a lot to do in Pattaya but this time I was there to go Koh Larn. To go there, I took bus to walking street. It costs 20 BAHT per person. And from walking street, walking to the pier.

From Bali Hai Pier, there are ferries goes regularly. From here, you can check ferry times and more about Koh Larn. It is 30 BAHT per person from Pattaya to Koh Larn and 60 BAHT for both ways. Journey takes around 45-50 minutes. When you arrive to Koh Larn and walk a little, You will see the buses going to beaches along the island. Just you should tell the driver which beach you want to go. Last year, I was in Samae Beach. This year I preferred to have time in Tien beach. To be frank, I like Tien beach more. More quiet, calmer and better sea for me. Bus ride to there is 40 BAHT per person. You can hire motorbike and hop around the beaches also. There are motorbike taxis also. It costs around 100 BAHT per ride.

It was very nice day in Koh Larn. Towards evening, I came back to Pattaya and other day I went to Suvarnabhumi airport using Bell Transfer Service, again. They take you from hotel by minivan to the bus and then, going to airport. From airport, I passed to Bangkok city center by airport link. It is very fast and convenient way to go the city center. You can take ticket from kiosk. Just select the station to get off and insert money. That is quite easy. Here, you can check Bangkok Hotels.

When I visit Bangkok, I like to stay in Phaya Thai region. It is the last stop of airport link, also connection to BTS transportation. From airport, it takes around 40 minutes to reach there by airport link. My favourite hotel is Victory Executive Residences. Very good location for me between Phaya Thai and Victory Monument BTS. Very nice neighbourhood, close to Phaya Thai airport link and BTS, 7-8 minutes by walk. Around, many restaurants, cafes, malls, 7 Elevens and street food also. From there, it is quite budget to reach sightseeing places as Grand Palace, Wat Po, Wat Arun and Khao San(Khaosan) Road as well (around 100 BAHT by taxi if not much traffic jam) and Sukhumvit area(around 100 BAHT if not much traffic jam). For Nana and Sukhumvit area, You can take BTS also. If You plan to stay close to Khaosan Road, I can definitely suggest Paragon One Residence. Budget hotel with balcony and essential amenities, quite area and 5 minutes walk to Khaosan road and 10 minutes walk to Grand Palace. This time I visited Asiatique, a riverfront place for a nice afternoon and evening. To get there from my place, I took BTS until Siam station and after, I changed to dark green Silom line and I got off at Saphan Taksin station. From there, it is very easy to go Sathorn pier. You can take free shuttle ferry to Asiatique. Just be careful, there are other ferries going to other places e.g IconSiam. Make sure by asking the officer that your ferry goes to Asiatique.

After spending a few days in Bangkok, my next destination was Krabi. I heard very good things about this place but I was worried about the weather at the beginning of December actually. I decided to stay at Ao Nang Beach. Taxi from Krabi airport to this beach takes around 35-40 minutes and it costs around 500 BAHT. If you have time, You can take shuttle bus, as well and tell the driver your hotel name. Here, you can check Ao Nang Hotels. I stayed in Anyavee Ban Ao Nang Resort and It was 5 minutes walk to the beach. Overall, I was happy with this hotel and recommend it.

From Ao Nang, You can take long tail boats to nearby places. Most popular place is Railay Beach. You can take tickets from ticket offices. It was 200 BAHT for both ways from Ao Nang to Railay beach by long tail boat. Journey takes around 10-15 minutes. If you have time, you can join four islands tour or Hong Island tour, as well.

The weather at that time was quite unstable as I scared. It may suddenly rain. And When it rains, it rains a lot. Even we caught heavy rain in the long tail boat when we were returning from Railay beach. There were times of sunshine indeed within day. So, I think beginning of december is a risky time to visit Krabi.

When I am in Thailand, time passes so quickly. I hope to visit there again in near future. This time I plan to visit Koh Samui.
